Congressman David Young presented Father Tom and members of the Centennial Committee with a letter f congratulations on the 100th anniversary of our 3rd church building and a copy of the Congressional Record noting our anniversary.

Thanks to the Croghan family who have been roofing the rectory, we now have evidence of the extent of the rectory roof fire on February 10, 1915. The 2nd St. Patrick Church caught fire during the noon hour. Wind blown flames spread to the rectory roof. People hurried to try and save the rectory using snow to try and put out the flames while a bucket brigade was formed. Thanks to their heroic efforts the rectory built in 1904 still stands today.
